It's that time of the month again...the beginning, that is. :) 

Exercise Time

Join us Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for exercising in the gym.  Kids can play while moms workout.  Bring a towel or yoga mat and a water bottle.  If you are interested in leading one of our workout classes, please let us know!

Doing Good

Jenny Burt gave a great lesson today from our Lorenzo Snow book titled Doing Good to Others.

Night of Giving

The Warner Family is once again hosting our Annual Night of Giving on December 11.  The Night of Giving is a time for us to come together as neighbors to help those less fortunate.  In lieu neighbor gifts it is suggested that we donate cash or a gift card to help families in our ward who need a little extra this holiday season.  So join us for this open house any time between 6-8 pm for hot chocolate, donuts, and holiday cheer. 

(If you are donating a gift card, please get one that a family can use to purchase food or clothing for their family.)

Visiting Teaching Tip of the Month

Call your sisters and invite them to come to the Relief Society Summer Salad Social with you. It will be a night of food, friends, and fun!!!  Sometimes it can be hard to go to an activity all alone.  It's always more fun to go with a friend.  An invitation by you can make all the difference in their day. If you offer to pick them up on your way, they may be more likely to come.

Update on our Relief Society Church History Tour

Here are the updated details:

The History of Women in Relief Sociey Field Trip - Saturday June 1st

You may be asking yourself, "Relief Society on Saturday?"  That is correct.  We have an exciting field trip planned for you sisters that is sure to excite and delight.  We are going on our own little church history tour in downtown Salt Lake to learn more about the women that pioneered this wonderful organization known as relief society.  Here are the details:

Need a date with your sweetie pie that offers fun, food, and friends?  Well look no further!  We are planning a super fun, super awesome date night/game night.  Reserve your babysitter now! Bring your games, bring a treat to share, and of course, bring your date.  Here are all the details:

Our relief society presidency just attended a wonderful training from the sisters of the general relief society presidency and their board members. 

Visiting Teaching Tip of the Month

Take turns with your visiting teaching partner each month setting up the appointments and preparing the message.  For example if you setup the appointments, have your partner share the message.  Then next month your partner can make the appointments and you will share the message.  And don't forget to call your supervisor to let her your visiting teaching is complete.  You can switch off with your partner doing this too!
