"Our assignment is not only to make visits but to consistently carry the Spirit into homes, to bless families with the pure love of Christ, to inspire, encourage, lift, and fortify. Every home is in need of additional support. Visiting teachers bring that blessed reinforcement. It is a sacred trust we have been given. We can overcome the obstacles." -Bonnie D. Parkin, RS General President, 2002-2007.

Update on our Relief Society Church History Tour

Here are the updated details:

At 9:00 am we will be leaving the church to travel to Salt Lake City.  There we will be visiting a couple Salt Lake City cemeteries to visit the resting places of some of the influential women in church history. It will be a great opportunity to learn more about these faithful women and be inspired by their stories.
Next we will have a picnic lunch between 11:30 and noon.  After lunch we will have a car going back home for anyone who needs to leave early.  For all other who are able to stay, we will visit the Beehive House and the Church History Museum.  We will plan on leaving Salt Lake by 2:30pm.

RSVP: Please let us know if you plan to come so we know how much food and water to bring and how many cars will be needed. You can leave a comment here or let anyone in the presidency know you are coming. Let us know if you have any questions. We hope lots of you will come!
